The Haribiro mantis is a striking, medium‑large species celebrated for its vivid contrasts and confident presence. At first glance it carries the familiar silhouette of the larger Hierodula giants, but a closer look reveals the details that make H. patellifera so distinctive: warm orange edging along the raptorials, soft pinkish tones on the legs, and a subtle yellow wash across the underside that catches the light beautifully.
 
Despite being slightly smaller than the well‑known Giant Asian mantis, the Haribiro more than compensates with personality.
